A celebrant:

• Creates and conducts ceremonies such as weddings, commitment ceremonies, vow renewals, baby namings, gender affirmation ceremonies and milestone celebrations.

• Crafts personalised scripts that reflect each person’s identity, values and story — ensuring the ceremony feels authentic, beautiful and uniquely theirs.

• Provides a safe, welcoming space for all identities, cultures, families and ways of loving, ensuring everyone feels respected and included.

• Manages the legal requirements for marriage (from 2026), including documentation, lodgement and compliance with Australian law.

• Guides couples through the process with calm, clear communication — from planning and structure to rehearsal and ceremony flow.

• Ensures every detail is covered, from timing and staging to wording, symbolism, accessibility and emotional tone.

• Delivers the ceremony on the day with warmth, confidence and professionalism, creating a seamless and memorable experience.

• Holds space — emotionally, practically and respectfully — so couples can relax, be present and enjoy the moment.

At Marry Me Daylesford, this work is done with a blend of elegance, inclusivity and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring every celebration feels beautifully crafted, safe, and unmistakably personal.

The first step is to arrange an obligation-free consultation. This gives us the opportunity to get to know one another, discuss your ceremony, answer any questions, and ensure we’re the right fit.

If you choose to proceed, your ceremony date will be formally secured once:

• Your service agreement has been signed.

• You have read and accepted my Terms & Conditions.

• Your non-refundable booking fee of $200 has been received.

Your booking fee is non-refundable because it secures your ceremony date exclusively for you and covers the initial administration, planning and preparation that begins as soon as your booking is confirmed.

Once your booking is confirmed, I reserve that date exclusively for you and do not accept any other ceremony bookings on the same day. This allows me to dedicate my time, attention and investment entirely to your ceremony, ensuring you receive the personalised service and support you deserve.

The remaining balance will be payable prior to your ceremony, with payment terms outlined in your service agreement

I have a booking fee because it secures your date exclusively and allows me to begin the detailed, personalised work that shapes your ceremony. It reflects the time, care and preparation invested from the moment you choose Marry Me Daylesford.

Ceremony pricing varies because each type of celebration requires a different level of preparation, personalisation and legal responsibility. Some ceremonies involve extensive story‑gathering, multiple drafts, symbolic elements, rehearsals or complex coordination. Others require legally binding documentation, compliance checks and additional administrative time.

Bespoke ceremonies also demand deeper creative development and more collaborative refinement. These differences in time, detail and professional responsibility are reflected in the pricing, ensuring every ceremony receives the care, attention and craftsmanship it deserves.

Yes! I am completely comfortable working with animals in ceremonies and love the joy they bring to a celebration.
